Today we went on a field trip with all of the 2nd grade classes to see "Slim Goodbody" at the Orpheum Theater in downtown Phoenix.
We arrived just as the show was beginning so we didn't miss any of Slim's antics. He entertained us with songs, sayings and funny demonstrations.
He taught us about nutrition, the brain, the digestive system and to never, ever smoke!
Slim Goodbody was a lot of fun, although my class was disappointed that he did not present anything about the urinary system. My students were also impressed with the sights of downtown Phoenix and liked being in a "real city"!
